Kayak rental at Vuosaari Paddling Center

We operate together with Conference Hotel Rantapuisto in Vuosaari, Eastern Helsinki. Here you will find information how to get there.

Opening hours

We open on the 16th of May 2012!
May:
Monday to Friday 3pm to 9 pm
Weekends 10 am to 8 pm
Summer season (June, July and August):
Every day 10am – 10pm
September:
Monday to Friday 2 pm to 8 pm
Weekends 10 am to 8 pm
Kayak rental ends on the 23rd of September!

All boat rentals include paddle, sprayskirt and PFD. You will also be provided with a map.

Our kayaks and equipment:

We have a wide variety of kayaks; Very stable and easy kayaks for beginners and many suitable kayaks for intermediate and advanced paddlers. We offer the best possible equipment for our customers.

Kayaks/boat selection

We have 66 sea kayaks and canoes in our rentalfleet. In addition we also have 24 Whitewater kayaks. We use the following brands:

Sea kayaks:

Valley, Wilderness Systems, Rainbow, Prijon.

Canoes:

Mad River, Wenonah.

Whitewater:

Wavesport, Dagger, Liquid Logic.

Paddles

We use Werner paddles for sea kayaking and white water.

Sprayskirts

We use Seals Sprayskirts.

Pfd

We use Stohlquist PFD’s. Our rental PFD’s are Drifter for men and Bet Sea for women.

Reservations:

You can make a reservation by sending an email to rental (at) naturaviva.fi or 050 376 8585. It’s recommended to reserve a boat on weekends especially on sunny days.

What to bring:

Dress for the weather and prepare to get little bit wet. It’s also good to have spare clothes. On a sunny day sunscreen, sunglasses and waterbottle are also important.
