The article however failed to mention, that the number one thing to do in Helsinki is go kayaking. That’s what people are saying on TripAdvisor.

We still have a lot of snow here in Helsinki, but we are already looking forward to the paddling season!

You will hear more about our kayaks, canoes and programmes this summer. We will sell new and second-hand paddling gear at discount prices.

Our paddling center is located at Ramsinniementie 14, 00980 Helsinki, next to Congress Hotel Rantapuisto in Vuosaari, eastern Helsinki. During the summer months of June, July and August we are open every day, opening hours on weekdays 12-22 and on Saturdays and Sundays 9-22.

The year started with a lot of snow – and ended with even more! But in between there was a sunny and warm summer. 2010 was a successful year for Natura Viva. Our paddling center moved to a new location in Eastern Helsinki. We increased kayak numbers in our fleet and added new models. And most importantly, our customers rated our services very favourably. We are looking forward to melting snow and waterways free of ice.
